Tank gauges for the battery group to know how much energy is available is becoming more important. Voltmeters and ammeters provide good information, but it takes a lot of knowledge to be able to read the battery's charge status. TBS battery monitors give you all the information you require to know when you need to charge your batteries before it's too late.

A tank gauge for the battery group provides the opportunity for better operating economy. A battery should never be discharged below 50% of capacity, with the monitor you have the possibility to monitor that this does not happen too many times.

The charging can be controlled so that the power consumption is not higher than the charging current. The battery monitor measures voltage, current and counts time. As an option, the temperature can also be measured. In order to get 100% control, it is required that the ampere-hours of the battery group be programmed into the instrument.

By measuring voltage, current and time, it can use Peukert's formula to calculate how many ampere-hours are consumed. Consideration is also given to whether the discharge current is high or low in relation to the battery capacity. Function exists to show how much time is left until the battery is discharged.
