The new OptiMate Solar range features a smart charge monitor that provides information on battery status when charging and when the battery is resting overnight. The OptiMate Solar TM-522 2 Amp smart charger controller features a 4-LED panel for comprehensive information on charging progress and battery status.

OptiMate Solar charging kits are fully automatic. Mount the panel in a suitable location to get maximum sunlight, connect the controller to the battery and the rest will take care of itself. No more battery problems.

When the panel receives sunlight, the SOLAR CHARGE LED flashes to confirm that solar energy is being delivered and one of the three battery status lights (SAVE, CHARGE, MAINTAIN) indicates the charging progress. OptiMate Solar converts low solar energy into a high pulse charge that improves solar charging efficiency. During the night or when solar energy is no longer being delivered, it transitions to a battery light with one of the three charge status lights now showing battery status every three seconds.

The 20W TM-522-2 kit (12V 1.6A max.) is ideal for all motor vehicles, boats, battery-powered equipment, etc. The weatherproof solar panel includes corner brackets for easy wall or roof mounting. Each kit includes a high-quality poly-crystalline panel with a 2m power cable, an OptiMate O-1 weatherproof battery charger, an OptiMate O-4 battery charging cable and the outdoor-rated OptiMate smart charge controller (TM-522) with 1m charging cable.
