Excellent weather resistance Robust and durable Easily and quickly sandable Ideal flow upon application Long working hours Black Sikaflex-290 DC PRO is a one-component, polyurethane-based sealing compound specially developed for decking of traditional wooden decks. It exhibits excellent weather resistance and is therefore suitable for exposed open joints in marine environments. The compound hardens and forms a permanent elastic joint which is quick and easy to sand. Sikaflex-290 DC PRO meets the requirements set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Used together with SikaPrimer (102946) and Sikaflex-298 deck compound for gluing the plank or entire cockpit sets in teak. 300 ml is enough for approx. 12 lpm when joining 5 x 5 mm grooves, without spillage. Sikaflex-290i DC and Sikaflex-290 DC PRO must not be combined in the same thing due to the different chemical properties of the products!
